A day at the Beach & Plymouth

The weather was no so good tuesday morning so we went to Plymouth which is called Britain's Ocean city and the sun was shining.  Walking  along the promenade  the views are lovely. It reminded me of the bays surrounding Sydney.

Later in the day we drove to Brigbury On Sea. A stunning sandy beach in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty joined by causeway to Burgh Island. Bigbury’s most famous landmark is Burgh Island, which overlooks the beach itself. The island is accessible at low tide, when the waters reveal a causeway that links it to the beach. However, when the tide is in you can still reach the island by a unique ‘sea tractor’.

In the evening we had dinner at The Rocks Inn. It is a traditional English Country Inn, nestling below the famous Haytor Rocks in the Dartmoor National Park
